The Simple Present
The "present simple" is the simplest and most important of English tense. In this lesson we will explain as how and when worn:
Conjugation of present simple
The construction of the present simple (Present Simple) English is really easy, having the structure:
[SUBJECT] + [VERB] (infinitive without to)
Note:
If the subject is 3rd person singular is added a "-s" to the verb.
Let's see the conjugation of the verb to live (live) in present simple:2

Special case: "-s" instead of "-s" for 3rd person

Denial in the present simple
Denial with full verbs (this is not modal and auxiliary) is also easy:
[SUBJECT] + su (s) + not + [VERB]
I do not sing

In English the contracts do not + to + do and does not shrink to does.
I don't sing

The question in the present simple
In interrogative sentences use the auxiliary verb to do is also done. Prepending the subject.
The structure of the closed questions or yes / no (ie those with no interrogative particle) is:
do(es) + [SUJETO] + [VERBO] ?
Do you like
music?
¿Te
gusta la música?
Does he speak English?
¿Él habla inglés?
The structure of the open questions (ie those with interrogative particle) is:
[Interrogative particle] + su (s) + [SUBJECT] + [VERB]?

Using the present simple
The "present simple" is used to:

Irregular verb "to be"
A special case is the verb to be that being very irregular conjugation be memorized:
